Five (5) Keys To Answered Prayer

Have you ever wondered if Yah truly hears and answers your prayers?!  I will freely and truly admit that I used to!  I am sure you have often heard folks say, 'just pray about it'.  I followed that advice and my prayers were not answered.  So I began to think that maybe it has something to do with my 'righteousness'.  I thought to myself, 'I must be doing something wrong" in my life'.  Well, I was close but it was more than just being 'righteous'.  At one time or another, I had consistently broken 3 of these 5 keys; and if you have found yourself in the same boat, wonder no more; simply follow these biblical principles, have faith and you shall receive!! The Scriptures lays out a definite and precise roadmap to the answer to unanswered prayer in five (5) key steps:

"....Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My Name. Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full." --John 16:23-24

"And whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

--John 14:13

Key #1: In His Name

Most folks would probably say, this is 'the easy one', right?? However as we know, most folks who believe in the authenticity of the 'Christian Bible' are actually worshiping a false messiah whom they call Jesus! Jesus is the true Anti-Christ as the preposition anti in the original Greek means 'in place of, instead of'. And in place of the true 'black' Messiah Yahushuwah the Gentile Christians gave the world the 'white' Jesus who teaches lawlessness, a New Testament, which discards the so-called 'Old' and a new Sabbath day! Many of us were once in the same boat with them, as these lies were passed onto us via our parents or other evangelizing Christians. Praise Yah for His mercy, in bringing us out from those lies and revealing unto us the true name of His Son; which according to the rules of the ancient Hebrew language is Yahushuwah!

"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them." --Mark 11:23-24

Key #2: Faith

Another easy one, right?? The so-called New Testament is choke full of verses regarding having faith. And if you were previously indoctrinated into the Christian religion; you know faith takes center-stage in the Christian world. Despite the words of our brother Paul/Shaul warning them not to forsake 'works' or shall I say more appropriately obedience to the Law Of Yah; the Christians still got it wrong and promote faith alone!

"Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law."

--Romans 3:31

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no works? Can such faith save them?....Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together and his faith was made complete by what he did....You see that a person is considered righteous, by what they do and not by faith alone....As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead." --James 2:14-26

True faith, is revealed by our actions; when we trust the Words of Yah and obey His Laws and observe His Sabbaths and in so doing, we have faith that He shall bless and protect us all the days of our lives!

"And He said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey and I have nothing to set before him’ and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. So I say to you, ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

--Luke 11:5-10

Key #3: Persistence

This key is probably one of the more challenging ones for all of us, as it goes against human nature; that is unless, one is in dire circumstance. What I would recommend is that during your daily times of prayer that right towards the end you ask, you seek and 'knock' for Yah to answer a few of your desires. Make this a daily habit until you receive and do not lose faith if He doesn't answer immediately; because oftentimes the fulfillment of your desire, will involve the action of another and some of us take a bit more prodding, before we submit to the Will of Yah. Which leads me to Key #4.....

"You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask Yahuwah for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you only want what will give you pleasure." --James 4:2-3 (New Living Translation)

Key #4: Within Yah's Will

You cannot ask Yah to give you something that may cause you to break one of His Commandments and/or violate His Sabbaths! So money/riches are off the table people; because the 'love of money' is at the root of many kinds of temptations/evils! A fancy car/home, is off the table because it is an idol symbol to be worshiped and valued above things which truly matter. A general rule of thumb I offer, is to only ask Yah for those things that He has promised to provide us with according to His Word such as a long and fulfilling life, vibrant health, a loving/supportive mate, honorable/loving children, sufficient food, a modest home and clothing. And when you ask, be careful to do so 'with clean hands'! Do not pray to Yah while you are still knowingly and/or habitually breaking one or more of His Laws/Sabbaths!! Which brings us to Key #5.....

"And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." --1 John 3:22

"One who turns away his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination." --Proverbs 28:9

Key #5: Obedience

I believe this key is by far, the primary reason, most peoples prayers are not even heard by Yah! Your prayers are not even allowed to reach His ear, if you do not obey His Laws and observe His Sabbaths! Now I know, the vast majority of Yahshar'elites believe that they are observing Yah's Sabbath by resting on the 7th day of our modern pagan calendar. Unfortunately, I have some bad news for them; they are not!

"....And ALL the Children of Yahshar'el will forget….the Months and Seasons and Sabbaths….and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance."

--Jubilees 6:34-36

Yah's true 7th Day Sabbath cannot be found using a pagan calendar. You must use His Calendar, as defined within the Book Of Jubilees and Book Of Enoch. There is no other book nor method given unto us within Scripture which defines how we are to determine the 1st Day of the New Year, the beginning of our months and the proper calculation of the 7th Day Sabbath! Everyone has varying methods such as watching for the appearance of barley or the appearance of a certain 'new moon', etc.; however the truth is, whatever the method, not a single one can be found within Scripture! Yes, they will give you one or two verses of Scripture referencing the moon or barley to hint at their practice but no real proof exists. One method, supposedly kinda, tells you when the New Year begins; while the other method, supposedly kinda, tells you when the New Month begins.

"Observe the month of Abib and keep the Passover to Yahuwah your El...." --Deuteronomy 16:1

"Then Yahuwah said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years" --Genesis 1:14

We have covered these two verses in-depth in our mini-series 'The Restored Sabbatical Cycle'. The first is used to support the claim that the observance of barley should be used to determine when the Biblical New Year begins. The second is used to support the claim that the Moon should be used to establish when the Biblical Month begins. As you can clearly see, neither method definitively tells you anything at all regarding said claims! They are both very vague passages of Scripture that don't prove anything one way or the other. What we teach can be found within Scripture; it is definitive, it is harmonious with the so-called Old Testament, it is complete and most importantly it is TRUTH!! Therefore my people, stop observing Saturn's Day and start observing Yah's true Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Sabbaths; according to His Word and not the traditions of men!!
