So the 'Watchman Reports' website recently released a video entitled as above (without the 'rebuttal' of course). They unfortunately disabled comments on said video for reasons unbeknownst to us and as tempted as I am, I will not speculate here as to their reasons why. 😉 I have never understood why so many 'teachers of Scripture' disable the comments section. For by not 'engaging' the public to question the things you say publicly is doing a disservice to the very people you are supposedly trying to enlighten! In fairness, I believe we may have done so once or twice on an 'introductory' video; however, that was because it was just that 'an introduction' so no point in beginning the discussion there when all of the facts have not been presented. Nevertheless, it is the duty of each and every one of us to 'defend' that which we believe/teach!

If you are 'new' to us, let me first say that we teach/believe in the validity of the Book Of Enoch and it's content! We have in blog posts and videos refuted the bogus claims against it's validity. We also not so long ago published a video proving it to be the ONLY Scriptural calendar ever given to us which defines not only the calculation of the months and year but also of the weekly, MONTHLY and yearly Sabbaths! All of the 'ancients' believed in it's validity; it was only the Gentiles who removed and discredited it. We believe due to it's proper identification of their TRUE origins as being that of the creation of the fallen angels!
But anyhoo, back to the subject at hand....
So their claim is that since the 'Enoch Calendar' is supposedly only 364 days, that means we would have already reached the '400 year' mark and since that 'memorial time' has already come and gone; then we shouldn't really continue to look forward to it's fulfillment based on our modern Gregorian calendar. What the French toast?! Really?? So the 'watchman' is no longer WATCHING?!?! 😄 How ironic!!
Folks we recently touched on the importance of 'watching' for the fulfillment of Yah's prophecies in these 'last days'. Yah Himself has said that those 'watchers' will be especially blessed!
"Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning.....that when [Elijah] comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when He comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that He will gird himself and have them sit down to eat and will come and serve them. And if He should come in the second watch or come in the third watch and find them so [watching], blessed are those servants." --Luke 12:35-38
So the semi-retired 'Watchman's' first and fatal error was seemingly agreeing with another brothers conclusion that the 'Enoch Calendar' consists of only 364 days per year. That is FALSE! The 'Enoch Calendar', or should I say more truthfully the Calendar of Yah, as revealed in the Book Of Jubilees and the Book Of Enoch, is a 365 day year, with twelve 30-day months, 4 seasonal 'transition' days that occur every 3rd month and a single yearly transition day at the end of the 12th month.
“…On the day, [that] the day is equalized with the night and becomes of equal length…On [the] day, [that] the night decreases and amounts to nine parts and the day to nine parts and the night is equal to the day, [then] the year is exactly as to its days three hundred and sixty-four.” --Enoch 72:20,32-33
To summarize, our year is to begin the day AFTER we observe equal daylight and nighttime (12hrs day, 12hrs night). This occurs within the spring season typically around March 16th and is called by some Equilux Day. Now I remind you, ‘equilux’ day marks the end of the year NOT the 1st day of the year. The New Year occurs the day after ‘equilux’ has been observed. This fact is clearly observable once you lay out the Calendar as instructed. Therefore the foundational premise of their video falls apart right there and even IIF the 'memorial day/date' has come and gone does that mean we should stop 'watching'?? Of course NOT!! That would only prove one of two things:
Our calculation is off
We have missed the boat'
As we continue to teach, there shall be two Exodus events; a minor and major, an 'early rain' and a 'latter rain', a Spring Harvest and a Fall Harvest. We believe the first shall be a small, 'private' event; while the last shall be a large public event. The problem is nearly all are expecting a single major exodus! And as we alluded to before, when it fails to transpire this shall began to lead to a 'major falling away' as prophesied in Scripture.
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to 'keep the faith' and continue to 'watch'!!
"Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man." --Luke 21:36
